The programmes offered – PLAYGROUP, PRE KG, KG1, KG2- aim at bringing out of its portal engaged learners, who can think critically, be creative, collaborate, communicate and connect with their immediate environment.
Playgroup
Yuvabharathi Nursery offers a unique, eclectic, theme-based curriculum with a play-way teaching method. Our engaging and stimulating learning environment fosters active exploration, curiosity, and creativity. The playgroup promotes school readiness and smoothens the transition to the next level.
PREKG
The PREKG curriculum is programmed to cater to the development of physical, social, cognitive, intellectual, aesthetic and emotional skills specific for this age group. Children are exposed to all the domains of development and no single domain gains prominence over any other.
KG 1
The KG1 curriculum aims to help children achieve basic skills in listening, speaking and reading languages, numeracy and general awareness and to put them on the appropriate path to attain the goals of foundational literacy and numeracy. Emphasis is laid on a seamless connection of concepts across different learning areas. Apart from classroom activities, importance is also given to physical education, art and craft.
KG 2
The KG 2 curriculum helps children to move on to higher skills in literacy and numeracy. Learning happens through individual and group activities. Children are provided opportunities to express their opinions as well as question the opinion of others.
Games, songs, role play, etc., across all the three years of nursery also develop children’s foundational skills in literacy and numeracy.
Resources are used in such a way that children are engaged in learning continuously. Some of the activities include puppet shows, nature study, project days, storytelling and public speaking sessions. These activities enable the children become confident and effective communicators.
The daily schedule of every child in the campus includes music, exercise, art and crafts and organised games. Students also have access to the Smart Class, Montessori Centre and Library.
