Sports Day 2025-26

Sports Day 2025-26 was held at the Multi-sports turf, Yuva Enclave, on the 5th of December 2025. The programme commenced with a welcome speech by Sanghamithra K D, a KG 2 student. Dr. Roshini Manoj, Principal, Yuvabharathi Nursery School, unfurled the School Flag, and the walk-past contingent marched confidently, showcasing discipline and coordination. Mrs. Geetha Jayachandran, Principal, Yuvabharathi Public School, declared the Sports Day open. Mrs. Nehaarika Sanjeev, Executive Director, Bharathi Group of Institutions, released the balloons and presided over the torch-lighting ceremony. She handed over the torch to our young achievers, who carried it with pride, setting the tone for the day. From fun games like "Pick & Drop" and "Mini-Warrior Obstacle Quest" to spirited drills such as "Dribblers' Delight" and "Parasol Parade," and energetic silambam performances, our children displayed confidence, coordination and impeccable zeal in every event. The turf came alive as our little champs took part in "Tri-stride Challenge," "Zen-path Precision," and "Rhythm Ring Frenzy." The winners were awarded prizes on the podium, in appreciation of their achievements. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks rendered by Vedanth Karthikeyan, a KG 2 student. The 5 S's of Sports: stamina, speed, strength, skill, and spirit were celebrated, but the greatest of these, "spirit", encompassed everything on our Sports Day!
