Tapestry of Tradition - KG2 Theme Day

The celebration of the theme "Tapestry of Tradition" transformed Yuvabharathi Nursery into a vibrant miniature of Tamil Nadu on the 18th of October 2024. The Theme day was inaugurated by Mrs.Nehaarika Sanjeev, Member of the Management and grandparents and parents in the presence of the Principal, Dr.Roshini Manoj.

Dressed as Tamil kings, brave freedom fighters, and revered literary figures, the students illustrated the profound contributions of Tamils across time. The grandeur of Tamil Nadu's architecture was displayed through impressive models. The student-led presentations vividly portrayed the rich cultural heritage of Tamil Nadu.

The event highlighted the state's diverse art forms, especially the kummi performance. Students, dressed as members of various tribes, offered a glimpse into the traditions of bygone eras. Students were given a peek into the traditional popular games. A special display area was reserved for our beloved city, Coimbatore. The Theme Day provided an enriching hands-on learning experience, enveloping everyone in the vibrant tapestry of Tamil Nadu's heritage.
