"Nature's Nook" - KG I Theme Day

Yuvabharathi Nursery School celebrated "Animal Theme Day" on the 12th of November 2024 to appreciate the diversity of animals and promote Ecoconsciousness among young minds. The Theme Day was inaugurated by Mrs. Nehaarika Sanjeev, Member of the Management, in the presence of the Principal, Dr. Roshini Manoj.

Children from KG 1 explained the models of different animal species and their habitats and engaged in activities promoting empathy and awareness of the challenges animals face. They learned how climate change, habitat destruction, and poaching will lead to animal extinction. The children also understood their role in protecting endangered species and supporting conservation efforts for a sustainable planet.

Through this theme day, the children deepened their understanding of animals' essential roles in maintaining the ecological balance and our collective responsibility to protect them.
