Ganesh Chaturthi Celebrations
Ganesh Chaturthi, the day of birth of Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles, was celebrated with pomp on the 4th of September 2024. Children dressed in traditional attire carried the eco-friendly Ganesha in a procession and danced to spread the spirit of festivity. They chanted the Ganesha sloka and spoke about the essence of Ganesh Chaturthi.
A few children masquerading as Ganesha reminded us why we should worship him before commencing a new endeavour. In order to inculcate ecoconsciousness, children were taught to create Ganesha idols using dough and paper cups. The hands-on activity sparked their creativity and taught them the art of patience and concentration. The celebrations helped the children appreciate the significance of remembering Ganesha at every beginning and appreciate our rich cultural heritage.
