Aadi Perukku 2024 - Ethnic Day

To pay tribute to water, the elixir of life, and to pray for a bountiful harvest, Yuvabharathi Nursery School celebrated Adi Perukku with traditional festivity on August 2nd, 2024.

The children observed Ethnic Day in honour of Aadi Perukku. They participated in traditional rituals, sang songs, and recited Thirukkurals, captivating everyone's attention. The significance of this festival i.e. to pay tribute to water, the elixir of life, and to pray for a bountiful harvest, was explained. Children carried home "Molapaari", which they had sowed the previous week.

Mrs. Neharika Sanjeev, Member of the School Management, graced the occasion and appreciated the children for making the Aadi Monsoon Festival very special.
