Independence Day Celebrations, 2023

Independence Day reminds us of the dawn of a new beginning, the beginning of an era of deliverance. The 77th Independence Day was celebrated in our school on the 15th of August 2023 with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. The school campus was beautifully decorated with flags and balloons to commemorate the day. The little ones paid their respects to the national flag and sang the National Anthem after the tricolour flag was hoisted. A cultural programme was also held in the school in which students from grade K2 participated. The children presented a dance number that enthralled everyone present. The skit represented “Unity in Diversity”. This event was full of patriotism and enthusiasm that kindled a sense of love for our country in the children. It also reminded us of the immense sacrifices of those who gave up their lives for the freedom of India.
